Yoga By The Sea with Christine Hopton
Monday & Friday: 5.50am – 7:00am – $10 pp
An invigorating morning practice to set the day. The class caters for all levels from beginners to general. Yoga is Hatha based. Mats, blocks, blankets and straps provided. Monday’s class is in the large room and Friday in the Bangalley Bar.
** New Class ** Tuesday 7:30am – 8:30am . Yoga and Stretch By The Sea – $10 pp. Suitable for anyone of any age.

ZUMBA with Claudine
Zumba is an exhilarating, latin-inspired dance-fitness class which burns calories and sculpts your body while having fun! It is suitable for all fitness levels and is designed for beginners to jump in at any time.
$15 per casual class or $130 for a 10 class pass which is valid for 3 months.

Yin/Yang Yoga with Michelle and Anytime Fitness Avalon
Tuesday 6.30am (Yin Yoga), Thursday 6:30am (Yang Yoga), Friday 9:30am (Yin/Yang Yoga)
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time—anywhere from 2-5 minutes. it is a mindful meditative practice. It targets soft connective tissues, generally of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine working with the meridian and energy channels, the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active or yang style of asana practice.
Yang yoga is the more traditional hatha based asana practice that develops muscular strength, stamina, and flexibility.
Yin/Yang Yoga is a class that balances the traditional Yang yoga practice for the first half of the class with the newly developed Yin yoga practices for the second half of the class.

Iyengar Yoga with Jo Longhurst
Tuesday: 10:00am -11:00am – $80 for 5 classes or $22 casual.
You don’t have to be flexible or strong to start with……. But you will soon notice great improvements. In Iyengar yoga we work on a monthly cycle, there are thousands of different physical yoga poses (asana’s). Yoga is a philosophical approach to life lived within a practical framework of working with the body and mind every day to gain clarity and awareness. The practice of the physical postures imparts flexibility, stamina and endurance, balance, concentration and clarity. Reduces physical tension and mental stress. Regular practice of yoga keeps the joints loose and mobile, it keeps the muscles strong and relaxed, it tones the internal organs and glands, it boosts circulation of blood and with it oxygen.
