How to Renew your Membership – Renewals open 1 September

Existing Members with a Members Area (portal) account

Step 1: Log into the Members Area (Portal)    Follow the prompts if you have forgotten your user name or password.

Step 2: At the Members Area Home page select “Renew Membership for a Family Group” .  If you do not see this option, email us for support.

Step 3: At the Family Group Details page select Renew Memberships  (located in the Action column on far right of screen).

Step 4: At the Family Membership Renewal page, select the check box located along the members in your family you wish to renew.

Step 5: Select the check box next to the Membership Declaration (yellow box at bottom of screen).

Step 6: Select Submit

Step 7: Select the red MAKE A PAYMENT box.

Step 8: Enter Active Kid Voucher details if you have a voucher to redeem   Enter the voucher value of $100.  (No vouchers to redeem? – Click Next to move to the payment screen).

Step 9: At the Payment page, select red PAY ONLINE box.  Membership fees will be displayed.  Calculate your membership fee from the pop up box, type in your membership fee value and then select “Next”.  Enter credit card details, then “Next”.  You can also refer to our Membership Fees page.

IMPORTANT: Membership renewals submitted without payment will be rejected and you will need to resubmit your membership application again.  To avoid this,  ensure that BOTH the Membership Renewal Application has been submitted and your membership fees have been paid. Only Financial members are covered by SLSNSW Insurance and iCare (formerly WorkCover).

Existing members without a Members Area (portal) Account?

Step 1: Visit

Step 2: From the SLSA Members’ Portal Login Screen, select Line 1 – “Don’t have a Members Area account yet? Click here to create one”. Enter your first and last name, DOB, gender and preferred Identity Confirmation Method (Email or Mobile Phone Number). These records must match our database records. Click the Next button. If you receive an error message “The information you have entered does not match any records in the system” contact our Registrars for verification of our records.

Step 3: Create your unique Log In Name and Password.

Step 4: Enter the authentication # sent to your mobile or email and click Next.
